  This place was absolutely horrible. If Gordon Ramsey would have been there he would say “you’re all idiot sandwiches”. Talking about sandwiches, when I ordered mine it didn’t arrive after... read more 70 minutes although we already complained after 40 minutes. The coffee and water arrived within 10 minutes; I must give them props that they were exactly what expected. The coffee was good and aesthetic and the water contained all of the one hydrogen and two oxygen molecules. Furthermore, my friend’s smoothie tasted like a piece of cardboard. The way of ordering was also quite questionable as you required to have a wifi connection to see the menu although the restaurant’s wifi barely worked. Overall, 2/10.

The not so good bits:

Odd use of ingredients, e.g over use of rooty, earthy vegetables (beetroot) and bizarre mix of frozen and warm components which in my opinion just doesn’t work (e.g. frozen vegetables/fruit covered in warm soup).

Optional lobster course was tough and difficult to pull meat away from the shell. I suggest the culinary team do this in advance so as to reduce the workload on patrons.

Staff gave poor explanations of what was in each course- very difficult to hear/make out what was being said. Appreciate fully the use of masks by staff but a ‘work-round’ is needed on this issue.

Unclear pricing: the offer of champagne/additional courses is welcome but transparency is needed RE: costs so as to avoid nasty surprises with the final bill!
