We had BoBom at our wedding on the 7/10/2023 and our guests loved it so much they were going back for more!

The availability and options were incredible and wished we could have had every flavour! The dairy free options too were amazing that guests couldn’t tell the difference.

Luca was an amazing host and interacted with the guests and checked in with me and my wife to make sure we didn’t miss out! He was polite, smiley, entertaining and had great conversations with the guests. Each one of them loved his personality and kept mentioning how great he was.

If you are getting married, or got a function coming up, you have to book BoBom! The gelato beats ice cream hands down!! It was so flavourful, creamy, and rich with flavour. Guests had options from tub, cone, or sundaes, different coulis, flavours, and more.

Seek out BoBom to try what they have to offer!

Our Wedding Catering was perfect! Best ice cream with a lot of different tasty flavors! We had the Bo Bom trolley at our wedding and everybody was so delighted of the special flavours like e.g. strawberry prosecco or passion fruit! You can taste the love in their gelato. Everything worked out so wonderful and on time, as well as the service was perfect!

We will keep you in our memory and come back next time when we are in Palma!”

Where do I start with this review? I found this company on a website as I was looking for suppliers for my wedding for 9th September 2023.

Marilena was very quick & responsive. Immediately provided me with the quote & breakdown of what they can offer. I wanted to book this as a wedding gift to my husband as he is a big gelato fanatic and has a huge craze for gelato.

Marilena asked us to pick the 6 flavours we wanted to be served on our wedding day, in doing so we went to visit them at the tobacco factory where they kindly offered us a taste test. We were immediately blown away!!! My partner & I both said it was THE BEST gelato we’ve ever tasted EVER! Picking the flavours was the hardest part. Our personal favourites were the Bo Bom Cremino & the Fior Di Menta (lemon & mint, tastes like a mojito!).

We had arranged for the gelato stand to be served during drinks/canapés reception and lucky we did, turned out to be the hottest day of the year! Luca did a TREMENDOUS job as he had a massive queue circulating the whole garden! Luca makes all of gelato himself from scratch which is why it tastes so different.

We were very impressed but the reviews from our guests were even better! All of our guests raved that it was the best gelato they had ever tasted and everyone wants to hire them for all future events!

Incredible service and incredible gelato

BoBom recently did our wedding and I honestly can’t thank them enough. From the point of enquiry Marilena was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely excited to be a part of our day. The whole process from start to finish was five star. They even let our nieces come and taste all
the flavours at the Tobacco Factory market before choosing, 10/10 hospitality.

And the gelato…. no words!!! Our only regret from our whole wedding day is that we didn’t eat enough gelato. The guests loved it and it was a perfect alternative to a sit down dessert. Would highly recommend these guys for any event, or even to just head to their pop up stalls to try the gelato!

Spectacular! Without doubt the best artisan Gelato I have ever tasted. They gave us a short list of flavours among which we chose our favourites. My sister is dairy intollerant and she could have the best gelato ever thanks to BoBom amazing flavours that are also dairy free. We could make everybody happy!

There’s Gelato ….and then there’s BOBOM Gelato! It’s like heaven in a cup. Our guests were blown away!

Gelato heaven. Our guests kept going back for more and the BoBom Team was so kind, accomodating and friendly. 10 STARS!

					  What can I say only that this dining experience was underwhelming to say the least.

The good bits: lovely setting and well presented decor with air conditioning. Optional cheese... read more course was delightful. Good choice of wines.

The not so good bits: 

Odd use of ingredients, e.g over use of rooty, earthy vegetables (beetroot) and bizarre mix of frozen and warm components which in my opinion just doesn’t work (e.g. frozen vegetables/fruit covered in warm soup).

Optional lobster course was tough and difficult to pull meat away from the shell. I suggest the culinary team do this in advance so as to reduce the workload on patrons.

Staff gave poor explanations of what was in each course- very difficult to hear/make out what was being said. Appreciate fully the use of masks by staff but a ‘work-round’ is needed on this issue.

Unclear pricing: the offer of champagne/additional courses is welcome but transparency is needed RE: costs so as to avoid nasty surprises with the final bill!

It is located... read more in Santa Catalina which is a very fun district full of restaurants and bars, but you will definitely want to stop by this trendy place. The shrimp burger is deliciously unique and their flatbreads are to die for. We ended up coming for dinner as well and I really enjoyed the bbq pork ribs served on tacos for dinner! Some great cocktails as well! They also have a great large table in the back for bigger parties. I am telling everyone I know to go here on their next trip to Palma so I’m sure you’ll need reservations soon!

It was towards closing time but there were still several tables with people drinking. Make sure you ask before you take someone’s drink especially if there is something in it!

We would return as the food was so good and the majority of the staff were very friendly.

I normally do not go for a dessert, as I do not like sweets much, but the dishes were so good that I wanted to try one. It was delicious( the pudding one). I dont remember the exact name, but the gin cocktail I tried was also super tasty. All in all, it was a great culinary experience and I would definitely go back.

The food is glorious, a wealth of flavours that... read more really forced me to reconsider my stance as an out and out carnivore. They manage the same trick with the drinks menu, organic wines that actually taste great and a range of fresh juices that they gleefully add cava or an appropriate spirit to. Plus a cocktail list that actually works - fab espresso martinis !

Service friendly and efficient from people who clearly are passionate about what they do.

Decor is fun, a lounge area, a 1958 motorbike sunk into the floor and a restored 1960 coffee machine.

Prices more than reasonable for the centre of town including a ‘menu del dis’ for €17 including a glass of wine.
